PointNot comes from a little old band by the name of Anthrax. In the late 80's they were experimenting with the cross-over between Rap and Metal. In 1987 on its self titled album, "I am the Man" the song, I am the man, hit the shelves. It was one of the first Rap/Metal songs to be published. It was written for fun, filled with joke-like screw-ups, and silly antics.

The last statement in the 4th verse is.....

They cut their crack, they offer joints....We don't do drugs do you get our......Meaning..... Point Not Point Not....watch the beat.
